Greetings Everyone and Happy Saturday!
I hope you’re starting your weekend beautifully with an active and productive stepping and having fun with your daily activities as well.
As for me, well again I woke up early this morning and it was drizzling slightly as I was looking out by my bedroom window.
And it continued to drizzle even after my warmup exercises so I was out and about walking in the neighborhood with my raincoat and umbrella. And so were others that I saw walking this morning.
It appears that more people were coming out now than when this pandemic first started with the stay-at-home mandate. And also as I listened to the news many people from other states are now protesting to open up the economy so that they can get back to work. They say that people who are infected or sick because of corona should stay home but not the healthy ones, which I think make sense.
In my neighborhood people now are being active by going on a walk, running, jogging as well as cycling. Some of them have their children walked with them as well. And everyone mindful of the 6 feet social distancing.
Before long I was home from my hour and a half walked and hitting the couch to rest and watched TV. I also managed to go online and started reading and voting some of your Actifit posts. There were a few that didn’t met the 5k, but if I like the write-up and photo, I gave it a vote.
Come around 1PM went back out to the waterfront again. And the sun didn’t show up at all today. Just a big blanket of white and grey clouds mixed in covering the skies. And the good part about it was that it didn’t rain at all this afternoon despite being overcast. Nevertheless, I still got a nice walk and really enjoyed the quiet and solemn surrounding views and sceneries of various things like these water waves splashing on these rocks and these geese resting and some enjoying the water.
Many establishment restaurant parking lots are empty but a few are open only for takeout service. But hopefully these venues will be back to its normal operation as soon as the economy opens up. I’m sure everyone’s longing and wishing for that to happen soon.
And that pretty much it and how my day went with my stepping activities for today. I was busy out and about seeing and enjoying the beauty of nature.
