You named my own biggest fear: I do not want to drag outsiders into a "look at my tiny coin" pitch. That would be gross, and they'd smell it instantly. So I won't. ChainCulture is not a pump pitch, it's culture: art, makers, music, people building things, with Hive present and mostly the epic community of Hivians. Nobody gets sold a dream. If anything the only "pitch" is this: here's a chain that survived 10 years, a big hardfork which the community ran, and look!!!.... a community that still shows up at 5 cents.
On sell pressure you're right, and I won't wave it away. That's why I lean on sponsors to carry as much as possible, release in tranches, and I'm genuinely open to committing to NOT force-converting HBD into HIVE on the open market (someone below suggested routing via the internal market or Magi so it never hits the order book, I like that a lot - or have some friendly developer gemchatclaudezack build a nice TWVAPpper)
And the hivers-meeting-hivers HiveFest you want? Still the core. It just sits inside the bigger day instead of being its own thing.
However a no from you is completely fair, and I respect it.
RE: Should Hive fund HiveFest XI and ChainCulture this year? An honest go or no-go.
