Hangar Obert 2026: open studios + performances at Hangar, Can Ricart, Poblenou

Hangar is Barcelona's art production and research centre in the old Can Ricart factory, 10 min walk from The Social Hub. Once a year the residents open their studios and labs. Free, no registration, drop in and out.

Two options: open studios 11 am to 2 pm with a guided tour at noon, or 4 to 7 pm with a guided tour at 4 pm, both from door M. Between 2 and 4 pm there is a communal lunch on Plaza Can Ricart by nün (tickets in advance via the link) and dublab BCN live radio all day, bar by Pony Bar. In the studios: sculpture, textiles, sound, a neuro-biofeedback audiovisual device you can try, a film installation on the Sallent salt mountain.

Evening if you stay: performances from 6:30 pm, Golden Hour intervention 7:15 pm, Sala Ricson programme from 8:30 pm and a Verushka DJ set (Primavera, Sónar) 10:45 pm to 0:45 am. Good spot for photos, raw industrial halls and live art.
