Yes the 1980’s make for a long time ago. :)

My chess mentor introduce me to Paul Morphy books, I have study no other. I identify with his aggressive play and use of gambits to check mate.

I am currently playing around 1450 in blitz tournament play however in the past I played a few big tournaments (city & Post) and was undefeated in tournament play during the 70’s.
