Saludos a todos mis Compañeros de Steemit, la pieza que hoy les traigo es del compositor Isaac Albéniz una de las más representativas figuras de la corriente nacionalista que caracterizo el mundo musical de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX.
Asturias fue concebida como un preludio para la colección de "Chants d'Espagne" Tiempo después se convirtió en uno de los movimientos de la Suite Española Op. 47. Originalmente la obra fue escrita para piano en "Sol Menor"
Se dice que la primera transcripción para guitarra clásica fue hecha por Francisco Tárrega en la tonalidad de "Mi menor" Otros guitarristas aseguran que fue Severino García Fortea, aunque la más conocida es la de Andrés Segovia.
