This is something tricky. Marketcap was derived as a way to value companies, so it doesn't work great for crypto.

I have always wanted to get some people together and exploit low liquidity. Make a few trillion+ circulating supply coins, do a couple $1=1coin trades and get coinmarketcap/coingecko to spell out a silly sentence with its brand new top 10.
