I captured this video in the Back Alley Gallery in Lismore, NSW, Australia during sunset so there was still lots of ambient light. The piece on the wall is by Australian artist Mr Basix
The tool I used for the light painting is a Nitecore P26 torch attached to an orange acrylic tube with some plastic odds and ends taped on the end. Below is a video that shows some of my coloured acrylic tubes.
To capture the light trails, I filmed the sequence using my Sony Camcorder and then processed the footage through TouchDesigner.
