This working when I was having my morning tea in the garden, these fresh blooms gave company to me. Yesterday some rain happened and temperature cooled down. The blooms stayed on the plants for more longer and giving the good vibes. These are called dogflowers due to the shape of their resemblance to the dog's mouth and when we pinch them from the back they look like the dog is barking.
Poinsettia is mainly grown due to its colorful foliage. The upper part of the plant changes its color in the cold season and stays same for more than a month.
During the Christmas time, people decorate their homes with it. Many colors come in this plant like red,pink, yellow and some variegated also.
These flowers are shade loving flowers and really look amazing when combined with other low height plants. The flower stalk satys very high and orange blooms give a great look to it. This is also called firecracker plant because its seed pods burst like a firecracker when water falls on them. The sound can be heard very much clearly.
