As some of you may know, Berlin had a big wall that divided the city in two parts, the american/capitalist wesstern and the russian/communist east. The wall was teared down in 1989 and the city was once again united. Now a days, there are some really cool monuments in place of the wall and as some friends visited me, I took them there for some sightseeing!
Even in the airport you can find some parts of the broken wall, memory is something really important for germans and I really like the relation the have towards it!
