Hunter's investment company(Rosemont Seneca) was introducing a pathogen research company(Metabiota) to a Ukrainian energy company(Burisma). You may want to check my previous post below:

What Metabiota was planning to do in Ukraine is not clear because attachment was not included in the released emails. I wonder what they were doing there.

Ukraine is known to be one of the most corrupt countries in Europe, and it's notorious for money-laundering and human trafficking. So, there might be more than just some pathogen research.
