Coal to LNG transition might be feasible, but I'm skeptical about so-called renewable energy(solar and wind). Of course there would be places suitable for solar and wind technologies, but I don't think they are mature enought for mass-scale adoption.

Anyway, it seems that the elites don't want to end the war for whatever reasons they may have. I wonder if Putin is going along with them (as planned?) or actually fighting against them. Maybe time will tell.
