Spot on. But you pointed it out yourself in your article yesterday. If Belgium and the Netherland combine to make one league, that would help a great deal. I'm not alone in saying that would be a league worth watching and therefore TV revenue would come in. If say, Russia and Ukraine did the same thing, or all the countries that were once Yugoslavia (Wishful thinking, I know) did the same thing that's what could really be a game changer. I agree it may be about the size of the countries, so combining 2 small countries may yield a similar result to a big country. I'd rather they go down that route than destroy domestic football as we know it.
