They played like a mid table outfit. That's why they actually are getting some results when they play top sides but look like &^% against lower sides. Same issue Wolves had last season. They only know how to counter attack. So if they play a defense oriented team, they're not creative enough to split them open. Then, they get frustrated and a counter attack beats them (Losing to Crystal Palace at home was a prime example of this). When they play a top side, they can play that mid table style because Liverpool are an attack oriented team. The opportunity to counter will come. Chelsea, same deal. Arsenal, same deal (Yet they still couldn't win that one). United beat Leicester because Leicester play an entertaining style. Entertaining style is exactly what United CAN play against. It's defense oriented teams United flounder against because they are so bad at attack themselves if they don't have the space, particularly without Pogba.
