I too think Messi is the best all around player but agree completely it can't be understated that Ronaldo has ventured places. Messi's record against Premier League teams in the Champions League give me pause on just how great he might be if he were in the EPL. Lots of fouls he gets in La Liga wouldn't be called in the EPL because the refs are much more willing to let them play. He's gotten many penalties that wouldn't ever be called in the EPL. Ronaldo's numbers skyrocketed when he left Manchester United to go to La Liga. Instead of scoring braces he was getting 4 or 5. In part because the refs call more fouls and penalties. That said, I do think he'd slot nicely in Man City's team. But I would find that completely unfair. Other thing Ronaldo's got is international glory. Messi needs that bad.
