I post a 'dad joke' of the day, yet I am a Christian. So I decided that instead of only posting a dad joke, I would try to post a Proverb of the Day as well. After all, our inward condition is more important than whether we laughed at a dad joke. 馃檪
I read a chapter out of the book of Proverbs every morning, based on the date. Since today is the 20th, I read Proverbs 20. I love this version that I have (NASB). It was given to me by my stepmom who passed away Christmas day last year.
Lots of people say they are loyal\trustworthy.
Yet you shall know them by their fruit.
True men of character don't need to toot their own horn.
It's evident what type of person they are. 馃檪
There's no need to tell anyone what a 'good person' you are, or what type of character you have.
In the end, people can see it by the life you lead.
Have a great day, everyone.
