Wolong! Haven't heard this name in years, but I got into a coin back in 2014 thanks to his marketing. I stayed in that coin for years and eventually it paid off, thankfully, but it was a grueling slog.
I remember he released a shitcoin named "PandaCoin" and used the symbol PND. I mean come on, that really is kind of funny when you think about it. The fkn audacity of this guy, lol.
After he finished his PnD's he published a little essay called "Game of Deception" where he detailed how he trades and the tricks he used to get crypto rich. It's an amusing read, so just for history's sake I'd recommend reading it if you can manage to dig it up. He claimed to have 10,000 BTC at the time, and it didn't seem unreasonable; after that he just disappeared for good.
If you're interested in more sketchy crypto lore, I also highly recommend "The Story of Bob Surplus" on bitcointalk. This is an amazing first hand account of a legendary pump n dump group, written in the style of a Greek tragedy. Excellent stuff.
Anyone remember Fontas before that era, even? like 2012-ish? I was too incompetent to get on board back then thankfully, but just remember thinking this kid gave off the aura of scumbag steve cranked up to 11 🤣
