Hey yall! It seems like every time i look at steemit lately, the value of the steemit dollar is lower then the last time. I have also noticed that the percentage of interest gains has gone from around 5% to 1% since i joined several months ago. So what gives? Is steemit dying? To further scare myself about this, when i glanced at my feed today, i could not find a single post that had gained a value of over a few measly bucks. Compared to the ones i used to see which could often reach up in the hundreds, this is pretty dismal.
When i first learned about steemit, i thought it was the best thing in the world. I was super excited to find a new outlet to share my art and writing, and entertained ideas of this being the way to finance other projects of mine, mainly my non-profit organization. Now i am starting to wonder if i got excited for nothing. What do you have to say about this? Has this been bothering you as well?
Ya, it is still a great outlet to share art and whatnot, but if there is no possibility of earning that sweet $, then i might as well just go back to publishing everything on Facebook. At least there i have a larger audience.
