Took a few days off from Hive and brought family for a day trip

My wife and I took a few days off especially from work to bring to kids a day trip to the Tip of Borneo, Simpang Mengayau, Sabah. I took some days of from updating my Hive as I spend some quality time with the kids.
A day trip to the Tip of Borneo, Simpang Mengayau
It was only a day trip but the preparation took a day before. Well, this is true especially it has been nearly a year the kids haven't got the chance to be outside during the pandemic and this trip is by far the farthest.
We are really excited especially to get the chance to bring the littlest princess as this is going to be her first road trip.
The journey from my place which Penampang, is going to take around 3 hours to reach to Simpang Mengayau. Simpang Mengayau is located at the most North of Borneo and that is where it got its name, the Tip of Borneo.
We started the journey at 9 morning sharp. I took the car averagely fast as I want the kids to see the journey and places along the way. Since our destination was directly to Simpang Mengayau, we did not made any stops.
Nearly 3 hours on the road, we finally reached our destination Simpang Mengayau. As expected, there are a lot people here too.
The place is beautiful
No matter how many times I go here, I am always awed by the beautiful sea, sands, waves and the breathtaking wind.

The little one is all over the places and we just could not take a right ans still photo of her, lol!
From the car park, we need to walk around 500m in order to reach for the tip.
I have to be honest, it was quite tiring to have to walk with the mask on.
However, once we reached at the tip, all the tiredness immediately went away, because of the beautiful view.
If you noticed, there is beach at the back but this place is too deep to swim and quite scary to bring the kids near the sea as well. This place is much more suitable to dive and surf.
We also get to see signboards pointing the directions of other countries which is quite awesome.
The kids really enjoyed the view and taking photos too!

Once finished, we travelled back at around 4 pm. We reached home at around 8 pm night.
It was tiring but having to spend time with family with beautiful view is one of those thing money can't buy!
