What time is it? It's that time again, It's HPUD!
I'm pretty sure that by today, mostly (except for newbie) knows about Hive Power Up Day or HPUD. In fact, HPUD can now be known as a part of an important event on Hive.
It gets the individual excited to welcome this event held on every 1st of each month and a day people look forward to on Hive, like Christmas.
I do feel that this event can also be an event that can increase the retention rate among users to stay active. How so? Well, I look HPUD as a commemorative day where users set aside some of their liquid Hive, power up, blog about it and most importantly feel happy about it. Thus, the cycle continues every month.
Here' my tiny portion of power up
I do feel a bit disappointed for only managing to power up just a tiny portion of my liquid Hive and I am saving my HBD for some changes of the HBD interest during HF25. On top of that, I am a bit occupied with our total lockdown held from 1 June until 14 June. I have to make extra plans since I have to WFH while looking after the kids at the same time. Honestly, I am held back with the chores and not having the time to put all focus on my crypto world.
A little bit of twist, I added LPUD
Yes, you are right, I added Leo Power Up Day as my personal preference.
Beginning this June, I will try to add LPUD during HPUD to make the money magic work more, lol. But, seriously I will add LPUD because the long-term projects they are currently working on, $CUB and Project Blank. I personally look forward to $CUB project.
Let's create more HPUD noise
One of my wish list is to make HPUD an event where all the stakeholders on Hive does power up and by this I mean all the levels from Minnow, Dolphin, Orca and Whale. Seeing this becoming a reality would probably mean that abnormal increase of vests on the first day of each month. Most importantly, we tell the newbies how cool HPUD can be.
