This is one part of the things that made me really busy, audit!
As much as I dislike them, audit plays an important role to ensure quality in work and improvement in processes.
I am just glad it is over and I am thankful to get only 4 OFIs!
Before I dive into the process and audit findings, I have to admit it was my first time going through online audit and frankly it was a new experience and a wonderful learning experience.
Now, let's talk a bit about audit
In my opinion, I believe audit is one of those disliked event any departments in any organization wants to avoid. You have to micro-manage and double check all those prosedures, files, SOPs and etc prior before audit just to make sure everything is in order, that I think is the stressful part.
The other stressful part is going through the audit itself. Questions after questions are asked just to see all works are according to the standard procedures. Worst thing, I have to ensure all my staffs are up to date with the latest procedures and they know what to answer.
All those preparations paid-off, only 4 OFIs
Incase you wonder, all audits usually has finding and in the finding by the auditor, there are either NC (Non-Compliance) and the other OFI (Opportunity for Improvement). That is according to ISO2008.
Usually NC is given if there is a major problem in the work that is practiced and the staffs are needed to fix the problem and response immediately after the audit has been conducted.
On the other hand, OFI is given if there is only minor issue and no response needed to be given back to the auditor. The staffs only has to correct the minor issues and discuss among themselves.
There is no such things as perfect work conduct, there is always something to improve!
I am really happy with those 4 OFIs
That said, there is many many more corporate matter needed to be done with so little time.
I will make small update on the vaccine after this.
