In the Philippines bamboo is not very famous, in Europe it's a rare expensive Product.
There are hundreds of products still not available in Europe like Germany, Spain, Netherlands and Austria. I only know and talk about these Country's because there I have a good knowledge about the Market and I have some contacts there.
A Filipino didn't believe that's it's not a big deal to earn 1.000.000 Philippine Peso within 30 or in fact 20 working days by producing Bamboo products.
A business man or woman from Europe knows that its a good business in Europe.
But there is one thing I sadly have to say. An I am sorry for that, and I hope you don't misunderstand me.
The "most" Filipinos didn't know how to develop and produce good products.
Again, please don't misunderstand me, I love the Philippines and the people.
I left all my friends in Germany and I told them to delete my number because they told me the Philippines and the people and everything there is sucks.
One point is the quality. A Filipino friend who is a architect said to me, the Filipinos didn't watch at the details. And he is a bit right.
I think there a two groups of people in the Philippines, and did you know what, it's the same as in Germany. Some didn't mind about quality, design or to be clean in the house and the other are completely different and watch every detail.
The detail makes the quality, I made a new cover, I didn't used a knife, I done sanding that it will be a round smooth shape.
The other point is they don't know what the European people like and what design they like.
It's the same if a European goes to Asia. He didn't know what style and design the Asian people like.
I can explain it with the simplest Example.
You can buy everywhere at the Philippines nice Bamboo Funitures and the add some designs with black draws and flowers. In Europe nobody would buy that. Nobody!
But. If you just paint it in white color without any flowers or other designed then its very saleable.
And by the way, the price in Europe is 2,5 till five time higher then in Asia.
There are some many expenses like the shipping and the custom and some tax, but if you put many products into one container that it's okay.
I came to the Philippines to find some business partners to produce bamboo bikes, bamboo Funitures and some other things.
So if you know anybody who produce anything.
ANYTHING!
Then kindly contact me.
It's not a big deal, but I love my some less bamboo products.
