Born & raised in Calgary, and then moved to Irricana (45 mins NW of Calgary) about 10 years ago. Wanted to get away from the city itself, but still be close enough to take work there, etc. I lived deep in the SE and worked in the far NE and it took longer to drive through the city than it does from Irricana to the city. And not having to drive on the freeways was much more relaxing!
