Minnow Guide 101

Hello guys been here in the community for 7 days now and i want to share what i have experience. This guide might be useful for fellow Minnow also and those who are still Minnow at hearts.

I have compiled a series of information that may be useful .

SETTING UP YOUR ACCOUNT

Click your your avatar on the right top most area of steemit window, click it and there are options that will appear.

Feed => You will received notifications from fellow members that you are following
Blog => You will see your own post or articles
Comments => Redirects yourself to conversations , you will see members comments from your post or their comments to your comments from others post, you may also do quick reply using this function.
Replies => You will see your replies and other member's replies related to your post or comments
Wallet => Here you can see your STEEM , STEEM POWER and STEEM DOLLARS

Legend:

STEEM => Its a sort of token that can be converted to STEEM POWER and can be transferred to other member
STEEM POWER => This will serve as your voting power, the more you have this the more curation rewards you have.
STEEM DOLLARS => Serve as currency . You can withdraw and send to other member

Change Password => Here you can changed your security password Settings => Here you can change your Public Profile , Picture , Name and your Location

Note : When you click on Steemit it will re-direct to Steemit.com

Note : You can choose any way of attaching images
a. Selecting them and then browse your computer for the image.
b. Crop and image and then paste it in the editor using (Window's Snipping Tool , Adobe Photoshop or MS Paint)
c. Drag picture and Drop to editor.

4. Using appropriate tags
Trending tags are most like the most efficient tag to use , since you can select up to 5 tags, make sure to put the first one where your article is all about.

Most Common Tags :
life = life related tags
photography = all that belongs to photography
steemit = application that we are using and any system that generates steem
steem = refers to steem dollars
introduceyourself = introduction to yourself
food = food related blogs

5. Using rewards
Before you post you can see options there rewards, see what does they refer :

-Power Up -> 100% (All earnings will go to Steem Power)
-Default - 50%/50% (Earnings equally be divided by Steem Power and Steem Dollar)
-Decline Payout (No value on Upvotes)

ACQUIRING FOLLOWERS

There are many options to acquire followers , mostly people rely on Social Media Groups (Facebook Groups) , other options below :

Acquiring Active Followers via SteemFollower Application

Go to https://steemfollower.com

Login with your Steemit Credential (No worries this is safe, around 4k members using it now)

Use Functions Follower Echange and Upvote Exchange , in return people will follow you at the same time upvotes random article or yours. As of now it has a day limit of 30 followers.

Join Steemit Groups

Join a Steemit group such as Circleof Friends.

They offer post promotions for their members.

PROMOTING POST

This one is kinda costly , but if you have the money you can boost you post by sending SBD
