We are off to our farm in the African Bush. It is close to a small town called Hoedspruit (hat stream if loosely translated from Afrikaans).
It is right next to the Kruger National Park, South Africa’s most famous national park.
Going to our farm, which has the big five on it (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo and Leopard) remains a wonderfully retro experience with no electricity, cooking on an open fire and hearing the sounds of the wild. We have often been woken by Lion roaring a couple of hundred metres away.
Here I am with my wife, daughter and some friends (and my trusty Labrador in the background) on our Land Rover. I will share some pics when I get back. Have a great steeming weekend
