When will the bomb go off? Interesting question put forth. The world has been forecasted to go through it's next apocalyptic closure next year, but looking at how things lie here in the cradle of civilisation, then the forecast may need to be prematurely undated. It was a very unwise queen of France that asked the people to eat cake, because they couldn't afford bread. The result of that outcry of stupidity was that she lost her head. Today, many folk are loosing their heads in this age of economic crisis. Molten lava, asteroids, earthquakes and the like are no match to the destructive mastery of power mongering men in authority trying to ruin the lives of many, with great deals of impunity.

These days we stand and look at a desolate land that was once rich with life and humility. Good people with honour and pride, making an honest wage for an honest days work. As Jared Diamond makes evident in his book "Collapse", the fortunes of any civilisation are doomed from their outset. Their life span has limitations based on many factors, but one of the strongest is the fact that the people become too disillusioned, very quickly to the divides presented in such civilisations. Once these civilisations were marked by the ranks of kings and queens. And the people served such masters. In the modern age, the new civilisation has been born from the falsehood of capital. The notion that worlds can grow from a lie has all the markings of a destructive nature.

Money does not exist. Money is there as a form of credit. It has never existed as a value other than what the people in power have determined it to be worth. A ten euro note is nothing more than a piece of paper with ink on it. Even the strip of metal that secures it's authenticity isn't at the same value as the note denotes. It is a lie. What it is doing, is trying to make the holder believe that they have a right to something of such value. But what is worth ten euros. Now this is where the market force perpetuates the myth and lie of money. Nothing is worth ten euros. Mainly as the monetary system is a lie, but also because the people in power mark values on objects that do not warrant value. This is in order to keep the monetary system rolling and creating credit. Take an example. A man digs a diamond out of the mountain side. It doesn't have a label stating it's value. Nature has not created it through compression and heat process at any overhead to warrant a cost. It is a natural form. It exists because nature made it. Man comes along and sees its uniqueness, rarity and beauty and marks it at a value.

All this trade however, determines a system that unless can creates new credit (via inflation) is destined to collapse. The cost of objects has to be kept in proportion to the amount the greater populous cannot afford. Otherwise, if we can all buy diamonds from a loose change, those diamonds would loose their capital value. In a natural sense they loose nothing. However, the monetary system is a civilisation born of lies. So, we come to full circle about the price of bread. Bread has always been a marker to the common man's right to live. The term is even used to denote the worker's desire to provide for themselves, and family. Whether the echoes of the French monarchs outcry will foresee change again it is hard to determine. What is apparent, and I have seen this first hand, is that the rot that begins this collapse is already in place.

An eleven year stretch on the street where my house is, has seen many an up and down, but of this recent epoch there has been an uglier face. One can tell when the collapse is due. People, people who used to cordially remake a "καλημέρα" on passing are now at each other's throats. Arguing for hours over nothing with the might that would defeat the greatest of armies. What do they argue on? The position of refuge bins. Why is this important? Well, to tell the truth it isn't important. The bins that is. The importance is that it marks a starting of inter-communal unrest. This is a key point to many changes in civilisations. When the people begin to rise, then civilisation falls. The most important factor in this new 'capitalist' civilisation is that the focus of the disparity is not status, but capital.

It would be easy to storm the Bastille and lop off a few royals heads to mark the people's struggle for their rights. Mainly as it is a great class divide, and the people can stand together. The big issue with the propensity of people in this day and age is to not act together, mainly because they all require the target of their struggle. Money (as the song goes) makes the world go round. And unlike the prophet like statements of the Zeitgeist documentary, nobody is going to give up the one thing that literally puts bread on the table. The only way this 'common man' conflict will be resolved is if the civilisation is forcibly collapsed. The only way that a capital based civilisation is collapsed is to eradicate money. Would you burn all your money as a way to make your life better? They have trapped you. The mindset has been made to believe that we all need money.

The system has created us believe in the religion of money and credit. Even some shopping forms are unable to function correctly without the use of a credit card. So what is that? Think about it. You are taking a product/service on the notion that it has some marked value, based on a credit system and paid by a method that doesn't even physically transfer any currency to any other place. So are humans given credit for living in this charade. No! The past few months in Greece have seen the desperate state that this money system has gone trying to hide itself from the discovery of the lie it is. Where mankind is great, is where people use their abilities and no cost or charge to find solutions to amazing problems. Doing this, as they no it is for the good of everyone. Where it becomes bad, is when small-minded individuals put a value on that drive.

We, as a race, have made it clear that we are egocentric in the sense that the short-sighted view of our own reliance and greed is the main stay of our development. The future doesn't matter! Well, it does. I have found that living and seeing the Greek country slowly erode into crisis has on one part been trilling, and on the other very scary. I must provide for my daughter. I have to find the currency of lies to put a slither of bread on the table. I noted as well, yesterday, that the two countries noted for being the cradles of civilisation are both at present raked in turmoil. Struggling for definition and survival in a chaotic new world where reality was formed on mistruth. Maybe, as Jared Diamond writes, the collapse is inevitable. Maybe fitting it is in the birthplace of democracy. Maybe righteous that the ideology that; "all men are equal" is placed on trial in a social arena where the statement itself has no defence with a single soul, unless they have a copper or two in their pocket. Life is more than this. Life is not about slave labour to earn food money. It's not about crying oneself to sleep to work all day to bring less in than goes out.

Life is for living, not existing!! Come forth the collapse and let's breath again.
