COVERING E3 2018 DAY 4 NINTENDO

We finally go the last day of e3 and who better to end the week but gaming juggernaut Nintendo. Nintendo is a company I feel that has been consistently busy throughout the years but oddly enough I haven't really heard of anything new in particular from them. It's like they decided to lie low right after Mario Odyssey and Zelda breath of the Wild. So I really have no idea what they're going to show us this year. Let's dive in.

Daemon X Machina

The Showcase starts with what looked like Armored Core meets Gundam meets Xenogears. It looks like a Mech action game filled with big ass guns, explosions and laser swords Daemon X Machine will be available 2019 for Nintendo Switch.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna The Golden Country

We then cut to the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as a new DLC for the game in the form of Torna The Golden Country to be released on 09/2018.

Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu, Let's Go Eevee

Gamings favorite COO Reggie Fils - Aime finally shows up to promote the next game for nintendo switch. And It turns out its something we are all familiar with. Pokemon Let's go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee was shown a few weeks back and now we have it front and center as Reggie gives us more details about the game. Looks like we're going back to Kanto this time around with much of the same gameplay with the series but it now has some Pokemon Go elements added into the mix. In fact, you can transfer you're pokemon from Pokemon Go app directly to the game. We also finally get to have a real life Pokeball in the form of Pokemon Plus. The games will be available 11/16/2018.

We now go from the Pokemon franchsie to the Mario Party franchise as we get to have a brand new trailer for its next installment, Super Mario Party on 10/05/2018.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

About a year and half ago Nintendo revealed that they were working on a brand new Fire Emblem game for the Switch. At this years e3 we finally get to see the said game, and it looks well, a lot serious than usual. Not much is known about the game yet but it looks like its going to be released Spring 2019.

Fortnite is going to Switch

Reggie Fils - Aime comes back and introduces a barrage of new and upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch first is the sequel to food juggler game Overcooked! Overcooked 2 to be released 08/07/2018.

Next is the the announcement that the crazy aracde extravaganza Killer Queen Black is now also coming to Nintendo Switch.

Hollow Knight

Next is an action adventure platforming game set in a subterreanian landscape of a mysterious kingdom. Hollow Knight is available today.

Octopath Traveler

The Nintendo Exclusive RPG was once again mentioned as its nearing its really date on 07/13/2018.

We then get a sneak pick of whats to come in the future as it turns out Nintendo is expanding its library with a bunch of new titles coming in very soon. The list includes Starlink: Battle For Atlas announced earlier at the Ubisoft Conference , Arena of Valor, Minecraft, Just Dance, Dragonball Fighter Z, Darksould Remastered and many more.

And then just when you thought Nintendo has nothing up its sleeve Shinya Takahashi General Manager for Nintendo shows up to thank the consumers for their continuous support. He then metaphorically passes the mic to one of the most familiar faces in gaming, Masahiro Sakurai. Yes, my friends Smash is coming. And it turns out its bigger than its ever been before. Sakurai then shows a trailer of all of the characters in SuperSmash Bros, only to reveal that EVERYONE IS HERE. For the first time in Smash History, everyone who has ever appeared in Smash are all going to be in one game! Pichu, Jiggly Puff, Solid Snake, Ryu, Falco, Fox and just freaking everyone, at this rate even your mother might actually show up. Aside from the characters though, a bunch of updates and overhauls are going to be provided for the game to have a more balanced gameplay. And finally to put a cherry on top, Ridley one of the most requested characters in smash history is finally making its debut. SuperSmash Bros Ultimate is going to be available 12/07/2018.

And that's it for this years E3. Nintendo didn't really give us anything new this year, but damn that Smashbro announcement though. There should be new announcements coming in, in the next few weeks too so watch out for that. For now, I'm going to take a quick break as I spent the last week covering 9 conferences total... also Imma need to update my game bucket list.
