Lets go. This has been such an awesome week for Hive.
I have always been marketing Hive from a long term perspective by highlighting the APR you can get from Hive Power and Hive Backed Dollar savings.
Hive Power
Hive Power is set to increase anywhere from 2.91-3% per year at a rate determined by the witnesses. When you look at that number, it isn't necessarily overwhelming at first, until you realize that the funds you have in this are not static. Hive Power is incredibly innovative and dynamic because you get to use that power to generate income from curation or for passive income through delegation.
Where at a bank you may (if you are wealthy) get offered a 1% static interest rate, here on Hive you are generating income on money you are using as a type of reward for your loyalty to the network.
These rates have just become more impressive because the spot value of Hive is shooting through the roof and the rates are scaling with that because our system was built to be the future of the web.
HBD Savings
This number blows traditional savings out of the water as you are raking in around 10% APR for HBD you store in savings. This is something that I have written about before and the steady nature of these massive returns is something that should be catching eyes from investors as Hive is catching more eyes.
Conclusions
Keep the momentum moving by continuing to stay steady and engaged. If you have been here before this week, you are ahead of the curve, but there is still a lot to be done in order to consolidate your account as an influential one before there are masses of people coming in. I know that price doesn't necessarily determine involvement, but I can't imagine that seeing $1.50+ Hive won't help us lock up some new users. The potential is just insane here.
