Time to be a bit of a nerd.
I am super excited about what happened with the Torum token in the last 24 hours.
I attempted to withdrawal the 950 XTM I had in my balance and experienced a major issue doing so where a transaction ID was not generated and the XTM went missing. Had the transaction gone through as desired, after fees I would have taken around 850 XTM over to a DEX and swapped it for a token I could put into Splinterlands. This swap would have happened with XTM around 70-80 cents.
Here is the price of XTM now:
Torum really blew up this week, and though I still think there is a ton of room for the platform to grow, I think that rather than investing in their DeFi protocols, I would rather pump the funds into the platform I think has the most potential: Splinterlands.
After fees, I will have around 825 XTM in my balance which will be valued around $1400... Crazy money for something that didn't take much work. Assuming the worst, I think that after gas fees I will end up with around $1200 in my Splinterlands balance; here is what I want to do.
Packs
I will be stacking $200 worth of Chaos legion packs on the Hive engine. I think that these packs are going wildly cheap right now when we have no idea what type of utility will be coming from the cards in there. I think it is always a gamble to buy packs, but if you pull just a legendary or a gold foil card out of the set, it becomes worth it most times. Let's roll the dice here with a few days before the end of presales.
SPS
I want to double my current SPS holdings as I imagine there will be a ton of things that will become SPS dependent in the future. With APR still near 50% this is also a passive income move.
Kron The Undying
Due to circumstances I did not foresee, I had to let go of my Kron card a few weeks back. I will be rebuying it (at a premium of course) as I think it is one of the most useful cards out there. I would love to stack a Llama Mage as well but that will have to be saved for a different miracle crypto airdrop.
Ruler Of The Seas OR Phantom Of The Seas?
I am unsure what I want to do here. Basically I could stack a Ruler of the Seas or a Phantom plus a Magnor. I feel like the Ruler may be a more useful and scarce card, but I may find more utility out of getting two legendaries for the price of one. Any recs here from seasoned players?
That's the plan, hopefully this Torum withdrawal comes soon! Kron is getting super expensive and I can only see it going up unfortunately (in the short term it is unfortunate lol) Good luck to everyone in their plans for Splinterlands and anything else you believe in!
