Maria had moved into that house for almost 5 years. Since then she had changed almost everything: the curtains, most of the furniture, the colors of the walls, the hanging paintings, the layout of the rooms. Yet she felt that the ghost of her husband's deceased wife was still there, filling the air with her elusive presence.
Maria si era trasferita in quella casa da quasi 5 anni. Da allora aveva cambiato quasi tutto: le tende, gran parte dell'arredamento, i colori delle pareti, i quadri appesi, la disposizione delle stanze. Eppure sentiva che il fantasma della defunta moglie di suo marito era ancora li riempiendo l'aria con la sua presenza inafferrabile.
