DUCKS
La papera piace a tutti, grandi e bambini. Ci piace perche è allo stesso tempo tenera e buffa, ci piace guardarla mentre scivola veloce nell'acqua, soprattutto se è seguita dalle altre papere della famiglia. Ogni tanto si ferma e mette la testa sotto l'acqua, e noi non sappiamo perchè. Forse ha visto qualcosa da mangiare per i suoi piccoli o forse qualcosa di strano che ha attirato la sua attenzione ma non esita: si immerge e sparisce per un tratto. Noi seguiamo la linea immaginaria del suo passaggio aspettato che riemerga, come se avessimo paura che non abbia fiato a sufficienza.
Everyone likes the duck, adults and children. We like it because it is tender and funny at the same time, we like to watch it glide fast in the water, especially if it is followed by the other ducks of the family. Every now and then it stops and puts its head under the water, and we don't know why. Maybe it saw something to eat for its little ones or maybe something strange that caught its attention but it doesn't hesitate: it dives and disappears for a while. We follow the imaginary line of its passage waiting for it to re-emerge, as if we are afraid that it does not have enough breath.
