Before some major sports event I love to check the venues where all the action will take place. The site http://www.stadiumguide.com/tournaments/fifa-world-cup-2018/ shows us the stadiums and has some data about the competition as well.
The Luzhniki Stadium, with a capacity of 81,006 seats, is the main venue of the competition. As expected it will receive the opening match and the final.
My favorite design is the one of the Volgograd Arena. It’s just beautiful.
