Hello friends, Today I want to share my thoughts about a water monster from the foundations edition. Colossus raider belongs to the tideborn lineage and has a mana cost of 5. At level 1 it has 2 melee attack, 4 speed and 1 health. Although its health is quite low, its speed and special ability make it an interesting choice for different team combinations.

Its main ability is reach. This allows it to use melee attacks from the second position. Normally melee monsters need to be in the first position to attack but Reach gives this card more flexibility. It can stay behind the main tank and continue dealing damage while another monster protects it.

One thing I like about this card is its speed. With 4 speed at the first level it has a good chance of attacking early against slower opponents. Its 2 melee attack can also provide useful damage when combined with a suitable team.

However its biggest weakness is its low health. With only 1 health at the first level it can be defeated very quickly if an enemy attack reaches it. For that reason placing a durable monster in the first position is important. It is also worth considering defensive support when building a team around it.

In my opinion Colossus Raider is a useful second position attacker especially when the battle rules allow melee monsters to attack from different positions. It may not be suitable for every situation but its Reach ability and good speed give it a clear purpose.

I’ll wrap up today’s post here. I hope you enjoyed this brief review of the card. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post. See you in the next one. Thanks to everyone ❤️
