Interface
After you log onto a Windows XP computer, the Windows XP desktop is displayed on the screen. The Windows XP desktop p has ix components appear as icons, and the six the component is a bar the id displayed at the bottom of the screen.,
My Documents
The My Documents folder store documents, pictures and various types for the files created by you on the computer. This folder is the default storage location for many programs in Windows XP
My Computers
My Computers displays the resources available on your computer, such as the floppy disk drive, the CD-Rom drive, and the Hard disk drive and control panel etc.
Network Places
My Network Placed displays the names of the entire computer on the network to which you are connected. In addition, it displays the resources, such as printers, and servers, which re shred over the network by various users.
Recycle Bin
My Recycle Bin is used to display the objects, such as files and folders, which you have deleted from the computer. By default, when you delete and object, it is not permanently removed from the hard disk of the computer. Instead, it is stored in the Recycle Bin.
You can restore delete objects from the Recycle Bin. This gives you an opportunity to retrieve the files that have been deleted accidentally. Deleted objects can also be removed permanently from the Recycle Bin.
Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer connects a computer to the Internet and displays the pages on the World Wide Web (WWW). Internet Explorer can also be used to view information on the private network an organization.
Taskbar
The Task displays the list of programs in execution. It enables us to quickly switch among various running applications. The taskbar has the start button located on the left side. Clicking the Start button displays the Start menu. You can start Windows XP programs, such a Paint, by suing the Programs command on the start menu.
On the right of the taskbar is the status area that displays the system time. In the area between the quick launch bar and the status area, the taskbar displays the p[programs that are currently running on the computers.
Quick launch bar
The Quick launch bar to the right of the Start button provides a convenient area to start programs such as Internet Explorer r and Outlook Express. You can add frequently used programs to the quick launch bar.
Creating Folder and Deleting Folder
Open the disk where you wan to create a folder.
Right click the mouse than select New Folder
A Folder name New Folder will be created. Change the name of the folder.
Click where you want to delete Press Delete Key the folder will be deleted
Ms Paint
Windows paint utility is an easy to used software package designed for creating and modifying images called bitmaps. It is easy to learn, ye has a full set of basic bitmaps drawing tools

Line tool
The Straight Line too is used to draw line.
Curve Tool
The Curve tool is used to draw a curve.
Eraser
The Eraser tool is used to erase a object.
Eyedropper
The eyedropper can be used to “pick up” colors that you’ve already used in an image.
Fill Tool
The fill tool applies color fro (or “paint”) to a large area of the image.
The Selection Tools
These tools are used to select portions of the image you’re working with. These selections can than be moved around, copied, or edited without affecting the rest of image.
Paint Brush tool
The Paint Brush too is similar to the pencil, but has more features. It to can be used in different, colors, but the shape and size of the Pain Burch can also be changed. You can use square, round, and slanted shaped brushed, of various sizes, selected in the Toolbar Options.
Pencil Tool
The Pencil tool is you basic drawing tool. You can draw in different colors, but other than that there are no other options. The pencil’s stroke is a single pixel wide, which makes it useful for working with fine details, but a poor choice for filling in large areas of the image with color.
Rectangle
The Rectangle tool draws there types of rectangle, outline, filled with outline, and filled without outline.
Polygon
The Polygon too is used to draw a polygon.
Oval
The Oval Tool is used draw a Oval .
Rounded Rectangle
The Rounded Rectangle too is used to draw a round corner Rectangle.
Text tool
The text too is used to position and enter into your image.
Magnifying Glass Tool
The Magnifying Glass, or Zoom tool, can be used to get a closer, more detailed view of an image.
