Most of the time in Indonesia to maintain and rebuild historical sites or those that are closely related to culture will be funded by the government, if not, then the money seems to flow itself out of the hands of the nobles. I don't know how to explain, but that's what happened. I have experience being asked to design a Mosque of Sultan Malikussaleh (Sultan Malikussaleh The former king) which was not funded by the government, even when the initial plan of the committee only had cash of 1200$, but over time in just 2 months they have collected around 34000$. I'm so amazed, and this is our culture that makes so much sense. People will lighten their hands more to culture, or to religion.
