This is a caterpillar without hair, is green and has a body the size of an adult index finger. These caterpillars are known to be very greedy, they eat leaves very quickly in preparation for metamorphosis into a very beautiful butterfly.
I found this hairless caterpillar on a lime plant I was growing in a pot. It eats up almost all the leaves of my plant. I took some of the pictures using a smartphone camera and added a macro lens.
