Kars is a historic city in the east of Turkey. Settlement in the region is based on the year 5000-4000 BC. The city remained under Russian occupation 40 years. On October 30, 1920, the Turkish Army under Kazim Karabekir took Kars and added it to Turkish territory. The places to visit in the region and the activities to be done are quite extensive.
Fishing in the Çıldır Lake
The lake is 1965 meters high. When winter arrives, it is freezing and its thickness reaches 80 centimeters. Breaking the ice on the lake fish can be harvested in a manner similar to the Eskimos.
Sarıkamış/ Powder crystal snow
Only other than the Alpines, it's crystal snowing here. A perfect experience for snowboarders.
Ani Ruins
Founded more than 1,600 years ago, Ani was situated on several trade routes, and grew to become a walled city of more than 100,000 residents by the 11th century.
