YOu know, I was thinking about that today. I saw a shield limpet for the first time struggling on the sand and put in him a rockpool. I'd never seen one before. I was definitely moved - fascinated, wowed, awed at this crazy creature. So I have the capacity to be moved, it just is less in literature these days and more in nature.
