Yes, I always think about before there were companies making money off bicycles and bike packing equipment. People used to just cobble together what worked. Jamie watches a few YouTubers as well that build their own bikes and make modifications rather than spend a fortune on a super expensive bike. I mean if you have money to spare sure spent 15 grand on a bike but if you don't you may as well tinker. Haha great .. I reckon the Mezcal ones are destiny for you! Jamie spends a lot of time on Facebook marketplace and looking at sale items to pick up what he wants. When he ordered the frame bag they accidentally sent him two and No one replied to his email about it so he sold it to a friend. Therefore, it didn't cost him anything. He has kept his weight down as much as possible and it is certainly less heavy than my ebike haha. As you know, he's a bit of an old school tinkerer so this aspect of bikes really appeals to him. I swear he spends more time building bikes than he does actually riding them, although that is starting to change as he approaches the time to do the Hunt 1000.
