I've always used paper bags instead of baking paper - it's just one of those frugal things your Mum teaches you! A bit of butter smeared on one side and over the cake stops it cracking, you know, those kinda tips.

I didn't know about the fact that so much goes into producing them!!!! That makes me rethink things. Guilty of not always having time to research this stuff.

I have reusuable bags I always use shopping - I've had them for years. I love my calico bags - though I'm dubious about their origin, I've had them forever and plan to have them for many more years hence!
