OMG you guys have been GUNNING the gardening - it's gonna look incredible when it all settles in! You've really put in an effort to get it all going. Impressed! But isn't this a fun time of year to do it?
Hardenbergia is a great choice, such a classic. I'm going for a less vigorous pandoreum up the chook enclosure but also the nasturiums have climbed up it - never thought of doing that but it works, and impresses everyone too!
Putting a placeholder down is a fab idea - why haven't I thought of that before!
Eremophila are great for the birds - although the local possum has pruned the two I have out the front.
And how good you've brainwashed your Eldest to like plants too. Our whole family loves gardening. It's a nice thing to get into together really.
