Such a good idea. I was telling @teknon about a similiar trick. It's not that far to go to Jamie's room, it's only next door (he can hear me snoring) and I usually go via the loo anyway at that time. It's better sleeping on our own - we get mroe sleep hahha. And yeaah, the bird life is pretty cool. At the moment it's the evening and the birds are all settling - kookaburras going off, the rosellas peeping away. It's lovely.
