Ultimately we are all simply a bunch of primal instincts, thinly covered by a semblance of civility, based on our education and training.
Yep. It frustrates me that we don't teach this in schools - even from a secular viewpoint. You don't have to mention the vedas to get across this wisdom, and modern neuroscience is reinforcing what the yogis knew all along.
I'm making it a habit to read these posts @julescape, as they remind me of certain truths when my mind is doing stupid things.
