It's so frustating that we are forced into this system. To pay for our basic needs - power, water, food - seems inhuman. We should be able to opt out if we want. INcreasingly, even if we wanted to, through owning land, we can't - we have to pay taxes on the very air we breath, it seems, if not totally banned from doing what we want anyway.
