I've read a couple of stories about their credit card being used somewhere else just after using Temu.
Yes that was the case really early on I think, I'm not sure it's still the case now.

Yeah totally. $150 isn't a lot for us, but it's enough for other people to do it and put their concerns aside.
Even I get tempted sometimes - there was this one contact lens brand with 1m followers who kept on DMing me for free stuff and I could post about it or not, on my choice.
Oh yeah definitely. Anyone that contacts us is told that we won't post about it if we don't like it. WE've been offered a lot of free stuff but never a paid promotion before so it's been more optional - like, try it out, and if you like it post about it. We have had a free dash cam, a rear wheel carrier bag, all kinds of things - but I only accept if I know it's good quality from a good company.
Thanks - I posted it about it on our Insta (@roving_tracks) and heaps of people agreed, which made me feel happy we aren't the only ones with a moral compass.
