Your American health care system is awful. You're famous for it. It's one thing I love about Australia and particularly where I live too - we have great hospitals, great health care. You can go private and pay insurance but the public health system is also great, just maybe a longer wait. So I could have got six stitches 🪡 public when I injured myself and it would have cost nothing but I didn't want to wait a few hours and went to private hospital and paid $270 AUD and was seen immediately. Have a heart attack and need emergency op? Free. We are very, very lucky. We hope every day we don't end up like the UK or America.
