Ooh I'm jealous of your sleep! Mines so sporadic at the moment. It really was the right move. I'm so silly happy.

RE: Mid-week Growers Check In - What's Happening in the Greenhouse - by Sunscape
It's such a tedious job isn't it I'm so impatient with it but I think today's the day I must separate the kohl rabi but I'm not even sure I have room to grow it now π

RE: And One More β April 1, 2026@goldenoakfarm
We don't get many deciduous leaf fall here as we have eucalypts every where... I would covet my neighbours if they had any for my compost!

RE: β¨πΏ THE HIDDEN TREASURE BENEATH THE SKIN OF THE EARTH πΏβ¨
There's sooo much value in observing nature and using what we have right here in the precious earth with gentle respect. It's great to know there are gardeners like you around.

RE: Helping Motherbels In Harvesting Her Papaya: Homegrown Papayas Straight from the Yard to the Vegetable Stand
I like papaya green or less ripe. Of all the fruits it's the one I don't like much! So I would sell them all haha

RE: Kicking Off The 2026 Gardening Season!
Well goodness me, look who it is! Was thinking of you the other day. Every time I plant squash I think of you haha. Did you know I moved house? So I have a whole other garden on the go. I'm jealous of

RE: A little bit of gardening
That bird plant is amazing... It looks exactly like a birdπ Sometimes we get too excited about Spring and feel we have to do everything all at once. Sometimes the plants just come whether we do anything

RE: It didn't kill me.
I'm glad you have found a way to cope. I'm glad you have faith in Lily to pester her Mum. As you say they'll be back soon enough. Until then remember the bear hugs. And from less rational and measured

RE: hare-brained schemes
That was an absolutely entertaining read. I'm breathless. You do make me laugh, although I'm not sure it was your intention! It sounds like the main problem is the chooks. Forget EVERYTHING and get them

RE: Ever Have One of Those Days When You Are Feeling Old?
I honestly don't think I could get on a horse these days. And I shiver at how I'd feel after riding one any distance. I miss being young(er).

Omfg the post can drive you wild. Why a magazine meant for our address was delivered two streets away to a completely different address I don't know. Lucky she was kind enough to drop it off. Common sense

RE: Three Cool Things on Hive You Might Have Missed
Aw, Lily is gone! I hope she comes back soon. I don't know about the music thing, I guess it's take a lot of storage? We used to have quite the vibrant music community here but I'm not sure it runs anymore.

Oh goodness, may the rain clear soon. Sounds like you need a gift of some iron sheeting or a gigantic tube of silicon to prevent the roof leaking! Rain like that is enough to try anyone.
