A request to the community

Hello, Project Hope community.

I would like to ask you for a favor and at the same time let you know about one thing I am excited of. At the beginning, I must say that this is not about Project Hope and its activity. Just keep reading and you will realize.

All of you were put in an unenviable role. To pick if you wish to write on Steem or move to Hive or stay on both chains. At the time of the fork, both sides of the battle over the Steem blockchain were playing a bad game. An unfair one. A dirty one. With the community as a hostage.

I am not here to blame any side of the fight. I have a few things which I disagree on both sides as any of you do. Maybe the best solution was to talk more, to explain and listen, but obviously it didn’t happen so the Hive fork occurred.

But here is the request and some new light to my eyes also. A member of our Czech #cesky community @tazi decided to run a witness node on Hive blockchain. And while we might have some voice in the decentralized governance of Hive, the goal will be to make Hive even more decentralized place.

This might sound funny to you, how one person can make such a difference? No, one person cannot do it, the community can. If the thoughts and ideas will be justified and more people will see it, then it can happen.

Tazi is not a member of Project Hope and not even Project Hope is going to apply for a witness, just to be clear.

I would like to ask you for two things!

1. Vote @tazi as a witness. Just find his nickname on the right side of Peakd.com in the search box as in the screenshot down below.
2. Let me know down in the comment section below, what are your thoughts for improvements on Hive. Making more than 20 major witnesses? Or less than 20? Giving everyone less than present 30 votes? Maybe 20? Maybe 5? Or just 1? What are your thoughts on the improvements of the decentralization on the Hive? Are you concerned about new forks rules and you have any ideas on how to make things better?

Here you go, I would love to see your thoughts. As I told earlier, I am not interested in blaming either side of the pre and post-fork fight. This is the past for me and let the future decide, which way will be better one.

This post is clearly written to make Hive a better and more decentralized place. I will inform you one more time, when the ideas will be put in a place and what are our results.

Here is the first witness post of @tazi as you can check his profile and first thoughs.

Thank you for any replies and thoughts.
