I agree that a giveaway doesn't necessarily need unique content to a good quality post however HIVE has a limited reward pool and it does make sense that people who put in more effort should be rewarded more. If people take 10 minutes to copy a preceeding post and just change a few things I don't think it is fair for them to be rewarded as much as someone who spends an hour writing something with more substance.

This has been a continual issue for HIVE as most people obviously want to do the least amount of work for the highest reward. By trying to stop this we have people with different views of what should be rewarded and what shouldn't. I'm not sure there is a "right" answer.
