I think this post connects to that same idea. We often focus on economic growth, technological achievements, and the movement of enormous amounts of money, but rarely stop to ask what all this progress is actually doing for humanity
Perhaps the problem isn't a lack of innovation or wealth, but the direction in which we are moving. We keep building more powerful systems without necessarily making the world a better place to live. Real progress should be measured not only by what we create, but also by what we improve and what we manage to protect along the way.
