One could ask how art can influence the image that people have of a country?
Artists don't just record traditions; they select and reinterpret images that become symbols of a culture, and sometimes they challenge them as well. As a painter, I think it's important to go beyond familiar symbols and explore the more complex reality behind them. It would be really interesting to see how different artists have depicted Andalusia in different historical periods. Thank you for sharing the images from this exhibition.
